Good characters and production

I was hesitant because of some of the caution to the violent scene(s) but knowing that it was primarily one scene I could keep from seeing it and would have missed a good movie. The girl was an amazing little actress and Jeff Bridges was perfect for the part. Some of the dialogue can throw you off but I think it was the way they spoke in that period and it didn't distract me from the story, humor and rest of the production. It was nice not to have a film full of foul language and gratuitous violence though it had to have the western shoot 'em up in it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I enjoyed the movie except for the sea serpent. Could have done with a little less horrific, so missed that part of the movie but my husband didn't. I wasn't crazy about the 3D -- didn't find that it added much to the movie and was distracting, almost gave me a headache. Otherwise I found the movie entertaining, good characters and good lessons especially if you know the allegories of the story. Definitely recommend and will add it to our Narnia series.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought this movie was one of the best animations and beautifully done from artistry to characters. It was easy to get drawn into each character and very colorful. I will probably want to own this movie when it comes out in DVD. I went with a friend and her daughter, who also liked it a lot and she said she will definitely buy it. We didn't see it in 3D either and I don't think it was needed to enjoy the movie.

Incredible footage

This was very well put together in order to show beautiful footage of God's creation as well as the journey of these three "families". I always recommend reviews to know contents and was glad to know about the animals survival methods so it wasn't as much of a surprise. It could be upsetting for children but it was not distastefully done because it was their survival. I recognized some scenes from the Planet Earth DVD but the big screen experience made a difference.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I brought 4 girls, ages 4-10 and we all enjoyed the movie throughout. It's scenic, follows a story and offers some good laughs for the kids. I was pleasantly surprised that the acting was put together as well as it was and having the original cast of the TV show made it come together even better. I appreciated that Miley Cyrus dressed and played the part age appropriately and some tender scenes pulled at the heartstrings. Definitely recommend!
