A bright new future for Trek

Just what the doc ordered, great action & story even if the science is a little off I didn't think about it too much.
My only gripes is that it felt the characters were rushed on a little TOO fast we barely got to know them so Im hoping the next one will have a little breathing room.
Also Nero was cool but didn't have nearly enough screen time, he was basically the bad guy 'out there' who you see briefly here and there and I wanted to see him chew some scenery!
Anyway this is great escapism and cant wait for the next one.

Great 3D experience

I've been watching 3D films since the mid 80s from Jaws 3D, Space Hunter Adventures In The Forbidden Zone right thru to MvA. I was skeptical that the passive 3d glasses as used by Real D would yield any better results but I must say they did it with MvA. Absolutely no ghosting whatsoever and the 3D effect is tailer made for these kinda CG Animated movies it was truly cool. No eye strain at all and the 3d really enhanced some of the scenes. Beautiful
Yes, I recommend this movie.
