A very good movie

Powerful, intense, and brutal. The movie shows the reality of gang life, and the hardships of the desperate immigrants we often would like to pretend doesn't exist. The movie grips you from beginning to end so well that I didn't even realize that they were speaking spanish and I was just following the subtitles !
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Too slow & boring, with the same old storyline, sprinkled with plenty of F words... and as a bonus: Typical Hollywood portrayal of disfunctional families.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
