Great for a part 1 of 2

I thought it was pretty faithful to the book, and I like the way they showed some of my favorite scenes. If you have never seen a movie or read the books, you might be confused, and the movie has no resolution, but that's to be expected since it's really only half the story. All in all, worth seeing on a big screen for fans of the series.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
