Iron Man Lives Again!!

Great movie from start to finish (queue B.S. playing "Iron Man"!!). Brought my 14 yr old stepson who's the nations toughest movie critic. From him, "It was good" is about as good as it gets!
I'm willing to go a step farther and say that this one ranks in the top 5 of all comic book character-based movies...all time! This is due primarily to the characters themselves. Robert Downey Jr. plays the part well. I remember Iron Man from reading the original comic books (I was seven when he was launched) and those of us that old remember when reading comics was one of the few indoor distractions you could find!! Iron Man was always a smart alec but he was also funny in a way. He would crack jokes like Spidey but less campy than the webslinger. Bottom line: Great job by RDJ!!
Casting in general was excellent with some great mini-performances by bit players.
I've got to admit though that the product placement stuff is getting a little out of hand. Audi, Burger King, etc. etc. When will that ever end? Kind of tiresome but a staple of big budget action movies these days..
