It May Not be My Star Trek But...

The insulting "this is not your granddad's Star Trek" didn't keep me from seeing the movie. It wasn't the Star Trek of my Childhood I wasn’t really the audience after all.
The Cash Cow has been cloned, successfully.The Movie is raucous space adventure. As it should be. It's just not MY Star Trek. But I'm ok with that.It is a very good movie in it's own right.The best in-joke in the movie was from the Series that killed the original Star Trek Universe via very bad management.
Overall, a very satisfying movie. Well done, Mr. Abrams.And May The Cloned Cow live long and prosper. So that the memory of the the dearly departed Cow lives on in our memories and new memories and new reaches will exceed our grasp from The Next Generation...

One of the best of 2009 so far. And if you are familiar with 50s and 60's sci-fi and pop culture you'll really get a kick out it. It's fun.
