Awesome. Best of the 3. And the storyline actually ties into the first movie. It was only one sentence but they made it work and it actually is a decent plot for a slapstick comedy. Alan is his usual self and the movie the was nice way to end things for the triology. Well worth it.
As one would expect, a lot of violence. There is a ~12 minute stretch with nothing but death and killing. A good movie, but still felt there was something lacking from making it great. There could've been more done with the son angle as it never really posed a threat or caused you concern (you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it). And at the end of the movie the President does somehting that he spent the whole movie saying he wouldn't do. So there's parts of it that gets you a little po'ed.
Starts off slow, then is pretty fast paced for about 85% of the movie. Then it closes really slow, with a crappy borderling obsurd ending. I'd recommend it as it is a decent action flick, but it maybe better suited for bargain tuesdays or a maintee I wouldn't pay full price.
Wasn't expecting it to be that good, but I had a couple of hours to kill and a free voucher so I took a shot. Well paced, and again it turned out better than I was expecting considering it was WWE studios. Tried to do a little too much with the plot and it wraps up litterly in the span of 5 minutes. A good but not great movie.
It was a let down. While funny and having its moments, to me it never really lived up to its potential. Its more of a ha-ha funny than rofl funny. A lot of funny movies you have no problem seeing again and again, one is enough for this movie. I recommend it with some reservation, as again while not bad could've been so much more. All the stories are about equally funny and you never really get that one over the top outragous moment. If I had to equate it to something think of a slighlty good but not great SNL snow...it has its moments but nothing to get excited over, and ultimatly is largely forgettable.
Its not overly bad, but the move falls flat. It has its moments byt overall is a disapointment. It just never seems to 'get going', and movie itself kind of drags. The potential is there, its just never reached. I'd wait for to hit Red Box or On Demand and save the trip to the theatre.
It was a weird movie. It wasn't really a comedy and it wasn't really sci-fi. I think the movie tried to hard to fit both. It really would've been better off if it focused strictly on a the comedic adventures of 'The Watch' or their alien hunting adventures. Instead it tried to mix in both and kind of falls flat. Its still a good movie and worth going to see it, but I can't help but think it could've been better.
