This is the best of the series. The acting was first rate, with all of the young stars really learning their craft. The decision to not explain every last detail was a good one, as the run time is over 2 1/2 hours, but the pace was crisp. There was a lot of humor in the movie, which was a good counter point to the more dramatic sequences. If you liked the books, the details were somewhat scant, but if you liked the previous films, it will be your favorite.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
