Mom, Dad and 3rd grader enjoyed this movie. Although it was long, the time flew by. We didn't want to miss a second. The picture was visually stunning. The action sequences were thrilling. My daughter said at the end of the movie that she hoped there would be another Avatar movie!

I couldn't figure out how they were going to turn this short book into a movie, or how they would live up to the purity of Maurice Sendak's story. Pleasantly surprised is the reaction I had after watching this touching story of love, loneliness and redemption. Very interesting Euro style to the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
