Visuals were nice...but

The movie was over hyped. Yes the colors and the scenes were beautiful and sometimes hypnotic. But the lengh and cheesy lines made it hard to swallow. I was told i would be mistaken if i didnt see it in IMAX 3D. But really the 3D was blurry during some of the faster action scenes and, at times, it was too much. I would love to see it in my own home without the 3D. There were scenes i would have liked to see shortened. The violence was too much to be enjoyed by small kids. Its one you should consider to watch, but don't buy into the hype that its life altering. Its an average movie with awesome special effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
