Oscar caliber movie! Every performance was brilliant. Beautifully executed, with scenes shot in and around Jackson Mississippi bringing an authentic feel to the movie. Poignant moments from Jessica Chastain and Cecily Tyson brought everyone to tears. Men, woman and children should see this brilliant movie and I can't wait to see it again!

The most fun, movie from the opening titles. The audience roared with laughter, a wonderful entertaining film from Apatow. Wonderful life lessons too, great metaphors in the movie, original scenes, great characters, and excellently directed and brilliant acting. Let yourself go and enjoy the fun ride this movie provides.

My husband has never in his whole life walked out of a movie....this was the first. Diabolical dialogue, ridiculous sets, appalling special effects. These actors probably signed on for what they expected to be a way better class of movie. Instead the end result is seriously embarrassing. Probably why NOT ONE of the actors promoted this movie! Watch the drop off of attendance after this weekend. BTW we were amongst at least 20 other people who walked out in Santa Monica.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
