Tim Burton trades Black and White for Neon

Alice in Wonderland is a classic that most Americans are familiar with, however this version (especially in 3-D) blows away all pre-conceived expectations. It was like hearing the story for the very first time. The acting was amazing- especially considering the abstract nature of the characters- but most impressive was Burtons use or color and light- it was like gothic-neon; the film bared unique characteristics in comparison with Burtons usual M.O. This is an amazing movie, the story is appropriate across cultures, and the context is appropriate for all ages.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
