Wait for it on DVD...

As a huge fan of the Terminator series (we'll forgive the first one... it was made in 1984 after all) While it IS entertaining, it really doesn't FEEL like the Terminator series. The seriousness level has been ramped up so high that there isn't a laughable moment in the movie to help you along with the heavy content (outside of the cheesy throwback references to 'I'll be back' and 'Come with me if you want to live.') Marcus' character was the only one halfway interesting and even his character I felt should have been explored to a greater degree. This was a very safely scripted movie. All this to say- this movie is entertaining and is worth a viewing, but you'd be better of to wait for DVD. Hopefully they'll do better on the next sequel.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
