Best Comedy of the Summer!

This movie was hilarious! Most of these reviews say "the movie was so stupid! I wouldn't go see it." or " the jokes were dumb and inappropriate" Guess What? The movie's R! Of course the jokes won't be good for your girl in a boy body humor! If you like Michael Cera or Jack Black, this movie is great for you. I would recommend it to anyone over about 13. For guys. Girls probably wouldn't like it as much. Either way I think it's worth the time and money

Not that bad...

I was a little disappointed after seeing endless commercials for this movie. Especially since most of the best scenes are in the ads. However, there were several very hilarious parts that had the whole theater laughing. If u haven't seen this movie yet, hurry. it's almost done in theaters. or just wait till its on DVD.

Best summer movie so far

I was very surprised to see how many people gave this movie 1 star. It deserves a 4 at the lowest. I go to see movies as soon as they come out, and Land Of The Lost is definitely the best so far. Will Farrel does a great job in this movie and so does Danny McBride. Also make sure to see Chaka the monkey thing they find. He is played by Jorma from the Lonely Island. This movie is worth the time and money.

When I went to see Adventureland, I was expecting another comedy like 40 year old virgin, but this movie was definitely more of a romance. This is a little bit of a disappointment, but overall the movie was good. Bill Hader and whoever plays Brennan's old friend are both scene stealers for sure. I would recommend this movie to pretty much anyone over 13

When a disaster doesn't strike the audience

I saw this movie with my friend who's a BIG Nicolas Cage fan. In the end we both agreed it was worth the time. Earlier I read a review saying that this movie was badmouthing Christians, I never saw that in the movie. Sure the end of the world is a touchy subject, but the movie wasn't stepping over the boundaries. Probably the best part of the movie was the plane crash scene. I'm not gonna give any spoilers, but that was one of the coolest cashes ever. Sure it was sad to see those people burn, but the amazing reality made all the pain go away. I would recommend this to any disaster movie fan, or anyone who thinks that Nicholas Cage is awesome.

A good way to waste time

If you happen to be at the theaters and want to see a nice family movie, Race to Witch Mountain is the movie to see. Dwayne stars in another kid friendly movie just in time for the Kids Choice Awards, hmm... Along with the two alien kids, he fights his way to the mountain to get their ship back. For a kid movie, there was plenty of action, adventure and comedy. However Dwayne does have a tendency to over-work some of the jokes. I would only recommend this movie to families and people who are looking to get a few laughs while hanging out at the mall.

Side-effects of Advertising

this movie was one of the best animated films I've seen in a while, however some of the best scenes in the movie were already displayed in the many TV ads. Although with a great cast including; Seth Rogen, Reese Witherspoon, Will Arnett, Paul Rudd and Stephen Colbert, the movie has some great unexpected moments.
