FOUR LIONS was hilarious. Very much SPINAL TAP's dysfunctional, disturbed, silly little brother. I loved it.

This is a fantastic movie. David Fincher becomes a more interesting, multi-faceted director with each excellent movie he makes. FIGHT CLUB, THE GAME, SE7EN and now THE SOCIAL NETWORK are all masterpieces. See this.

Excellent Survival Horror

This is Adam Green's third feature film, and it's his third great one. But rather than repeat the jokey, fun splatstick of HATCHET or the devastating psychological whirlwind of SPIRAL, Green has proven he is master of a third offshoot of the horror genre -- brutal survival horror. FROZEN is a tough, character-based, realistic horror story. It's like if Mamet's THE EDGE unfolded in a space of fifty feet rather than miles and miles. It also shares a bit of a kinship with OPEN WATER, although I thought OPEN WATER was a fantastic idea executed very poorly, whereas FROZEN is more than just a great concept. And it's original. Not a remake. Not a sequel. I recommend it highly.
