I will admit it got slow at some points - it lost my 12 year old's attention at times - but the graphics were great - the snowflakes and the flying scenes were awesome - felt like you were flying through the snow. Definitely worth seeing - but go in 3D IMAX if you do go, or you will fall asleep!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A heartwarming story with excellent 3D visuals. A good story line even without the 3D effect. Bring a hanky.. it truly tugs at the heartstrings and reminds us what TRULY is important in life.

I have only watched a handful of Star Trek episodes on TV, but found myself enjoying this movie a lot more than I thought I would. There was a lot of "punch 'em up" scenes in it, though, which seemed to have distressed my non-violent son a bit who's 12. Overall it was well done - lots of cool graphics. Would be good to see at an Imax I would suspect.
