This movie met all our expectations and is a great addition to this movie franchise. For those with children under 8 we dont recommend then watching this movie. The new characters only add to this wonderful movie and we rate it a must see!

I brought my two children ages 8 and 11. They enjoyed the movie and actually got what the message was saying. I know a few parts were scarey but those parts are brief and you are on to the next part of the story. The advent of 3D many years ago was very disappointing for me. With what they are doing today along with IMAX I would not see this in any other format. The ability of the director to take this story to a whiole new level due to animation is a credit to the industry. I would recommend this movie for children 7 and above if you are worried about the scarey parts. I, for one, stayed to the end even when the credits rolled. Bocelli's song was breathtaking! I plan on going again and buying this when it comes out. Merry Christmas to all!
