Best movie I've seen this year, and my kids loved it too. The cinematography was simply stunning and it worked well both as a film for adults and as a children's movie. Also the best use of 3D I've ever seen. My kids are 10 and 12--it might be a little too grown-up for very young children, but it was perfect for mine.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Kind of disappointing

It was cute and somewhat funny, but I was hoping for a little more funny. Definitely more a movie for the nostalgic parents than for the kids, and I'm glad I saw it, but the movie itself seemed to be aware that it was resting on its laurels.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An oasis in the summer desert of dumb movies

After a winter and spring full of excellent movies for grown-ups, this summer season has really been slim pickings. I've been wanting to go to the movies, but aside from Bridesmaids there hasn't been much to lure me there.
Watching Company was so fulfilling--it was funny and sharp and gloriously uplifting--a cheerful experience for these hard times. The production was just about perfect and very well cast.
You certainly get your money's worth too--the show is about as long as a double feature.
This movie was hilarious, both I and my two girls loved it! A little scary at the beginning for little kids, but it soon settles down into a laugh groove, lots of physical comedy and jokes that work on all levels. I'd say eight and up for kids.
