We went to the midnight showing. The special effects and the scenes dealing with the transformers were well done and lived up to high action expectations. Extremely disappointed in the high profile crude language and hihly suggestive comments and scenes. As a mom there with my teenage sons, it made me uncomfortable, but it solicited the desired amount of howls from the male audience. I also didn't think turning mom's character into a buffoon was nesscessary. It cheapened te whole relationship between Sam's character and his mom. The comic part could have been handled much better. Overall I will take the first movie.
I & my family had a great time. I get the change of life stuff in the beginning and so did my kids. Guess they see some of it in us. Felt the other reviewers were rather shallow in their opinions so glad we did not go by them. This was not suppose to be the same ase the other Mummies, it is at a different period in their life. It was hard getting use to a new Evelen. However, the Alex did a good job. While he was a little stuffy as a child, Guess what Boys grow and since Rick is a real man what example do you think Alex would follow. With 3 sons of my own I felt this was refelected well. GO SEE THE MOVIE. HAVE A GOOD TIME AND JUST ENJOY.
We all loved it. Yea Pixar. My Children got all the hidden references to the other movies, ie Auto being Hal (2001), My 13 year old had a huge smile on his face throughout. Loved the Hello Dolly thought the background and the connection of WALLE being Cornelius and EVA being Irene. We also were intregued by the fate of earth covered with garabge and then the giant WALLE's on the ship still performing the same process and jetisoning it into space. Of coure the human's coming home was the perfect end along with WALLE and EVA together. As I said we loved it all and I could not pry my 4 kiddos out of the seats till the final B&L logo after the end of the credits. This is a must see movie.
