I would recommend this movie. It wasn't my all time favorite, but had a meaningful and relevant story line. I don't agree that it was totally predictable, there was a couple of twists in there I wasn't expecting. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. I agree that Amanda Seyfried is not a good actress and is a bit plain looking- i'm dumbfounded that she somehow made it in Hollywood.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
