I loved it thru and thru! Great character study plus the moving storyline and adorable actors. To me, it was a story about children; their struggles, sorrows, joys, hopes, & the psychological challenges that come with being orphaned & trying to survive (plus a love story intertwined).
I don't understad how the genre of this movie would be labeled "comedy." It definitely was not a comedy although there were light moments in the movie.
