I was so worried about how the moviemakers were gonna treat this movie. But I was really happily overwhemed. My beloved Star Trek crew were treated with the respect that all old Trekkies believe they deserved. They remained our heroes when so many movies are coming out and making our heroes into "dark" flawed individuals. The updated graphics and technology used to provide the special effects will really make old trekkies stand up and cheer, The NEW Trekkies will grow to love the new "Kick-butt" Captain Kirk . I loved the actors recreation of the new heros, except they made Uhura's using her feminine wiles on Spock to get her position. That sucked.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
