Terrific Comeback

I do not consider myself a "Trekie", but I grew up with Star Trek and I liked most of the movies. This one, however, was the best. J.J. Abraams did a fantastic job keeping the characters true-to-form and provided a wonderful placement of humor that does the original series justice. Anyone unfamiliar with Star Trek but likes action/adventure movies would like this movie. However, those of us familar with Star Trek will truly appreciate the humor. I will buy this one when it comes out on DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Beat Saturday night TV, but...

Similar to the Thomas Crowne Affair but without the same chemistry among the actors and a jumbled flow. Can't say I really liked it. The movie jumped around but I can't say it was overly suspenseful.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
