A Bit Flashback Happy

Overall, I liked this movie, but the story was somewhat disjointed. The frequent and numerous flashbacks seemed to make the movie seem rather slow-moving in the beginning. The need to set up the back story of the main character was the cause of this storytelling method. I thought that the cinematography was quite good. Several of the other viewers accompanying me were somewhat unsettled by the level of graphic violence in the movie, particularly in some of the early scenes.
Considering the low budget of this movie and the the fact that many of the actors were inexperienced, I felt that the movie was quite remarkable. It won't end up on my all time favorites list, but I'm glad that I went to see it.
