Jeff Bridges is the reason to see this movie!

I'm not a fan of country music, but after watching this film, I'm going to get the CD. Music was wonderful. Jeff Bridges, amazing. My husband and I couldn't figure out the motivation behind the Jean character. Why would someone like her, with a 4 year old son, get involved with Bad Blake? Just didn't work. That story line was a bit of a disconnect, but shouldn't stop anyone from seeing this great, great film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What a wonderful "peak" into the lives of young opera singers. Congratulations to the people that came up with the idea of making a documentary of this competition and showing it in theatres across the country on the same date and time. Also highly recommend the "Live from the Met on HD" Opera series. A "gift" to all of us opera lovers who can't get to New York to see opera live. I have seen two of the operas this season and the experience is beyond wonderful. The perfect way to expose young people to opera. And, you get to go backstage and meet the performers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
