Johnny Depp is great as always, that is if you are a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It is much better than the last movie, but the story line falls short robbing it from a better review. The 3D is done well, but nothing spectacular that you would miss out on if you don't see it in 3D. It is a long movie, but I was entertained enough with it that I never checked my watch and was a little shocked how late it was when we left the theater. If you are a fan of these movies you should like it, if not, I don't know why you would even read this review.

A nice movie

My wife and I went to this movie on Valentines Day, her choice. To my surprise I enjoyed it, it is a nice story with some funny parts and the animation is great! My wife loved the movie so much she changed her computer background to a scene from it and now wants to get it on DVD. It would be a great movie for kids that adults can handle watching. It did not have any annoying characters and although there was more singing than I care for, there was less than I was expecting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
