Love Jim Carrey as Christmas Present. His laughter made me laugh. It was great with the big screen and the 3-D. My guests enjoyed it too.

Never saw the graphic novel

Loved the movie - time flew - didn't feel like 2 hours and 40 minutes. I never read or saw the graphic novel. I may have enjoyed it more than those who had. I loved the back story of each of the characters. Dr. Manhattan reminded me of the Silver Surfer. He very very cool and detached.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
