Harry Potter Grows Up

I'm not a Harry Potter fanatic but I have enjoyed both the books and the movies. This one, The Half Blood Prince, seems to fall in the middle of the pack for me. It was good - I thought the production values were truly spectacular, music was a bit off at times, but all in all I missed the "magical" transformation scenes that were more heavily featured in other Harry Potter movies. I thought that the romantic aspects really didn't add much to the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought that the movie was one of the best I've seen in years. The moral questions, the decisions that were made - and not made - and the resulting consequences were exceptionally well done. And the cast - all of them - were top notch.
