This movie was sooo bad. Definitely the worst so far of 2011. The part of Cooper slurping blood off the floor is ridiculous and just insulting to anyone's intelligence. Not to mention the chopped off hands or especially the hands flipping you off in the safe. That is about the most stupid movie moment I have seen in ages. This movie starts off fairly well but then it's straight downhill from there and fast. Robert DeNiro must have really needed a paycheck. A total embarrassment to his career.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I thought this movie was pretty underwhelming. Decent story line, but not developed enough or developed deeply enough. Took my five year old and ten year old to see it. Five year old thought it was ok; ten year old didn't like it. The voodoo shadow characters are really sinister and creepy. Overall, it was a bit better than average--would have rather waited for a rental. Animation was lovely and good message with having to work hard, but kind of over-stated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
