"Old School" Trekkies Given Their Propers

Being an AARP-card carrying trekkie, I came prepared to the new STAR TREK movie to be offended by the "new breed". I was so pleasantly surprised....the storyline was valid, the introduction of the main characters was well-spaced and clever. The references to the original series were loved by the audience and, of course, the cutting edge special effects of the day made it all the more "fascinating!" Kudos to the Bad Robot!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
