Hugo was so boring!

I guess you need to know a bit about the movie going into it. All I knew about it was the trailor and that alone wasn't clear to what this movie was about. I love fantasy/scifi/imagination movies but this one sucked!!! From the beginning there was too much uneccessary talking and a waste of time with the goofy Sasha Baron (whatever his name is). 75% of the movie was so uninteresting and seemed like the director tried to stretch the story out to meet the 2hrs. the last 25% of the movie finally had some action or shall I say "interesting" parts in it. Also, why do fantasy type fairy tale movies always have to be in British accents all the time? Americans don't have imagination? As twisted and confusing as the movie is, a British accent doesn't help when I'm trying to understand the movie. This movie was a sleeper for me. I rather was Fried Green Tomatoes.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
