Revolutionary CG + Good Pacing + Good Story

Avatar will definitely be THE benchmark for CG movies in the future. Ridiculous attention to detail lines this excellently paced, well written (and thankfully not contrived) storyline. A truly 3-dimensional protagonist rounds out to make for quite possibly the best movie of 2009. WATCH this, (and in 3-D; you really don't want to miss this in 3-D).
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Faithful to the movie, but not without hiccups

A fun, dark story, with Hemingway-esque flashbacks explaining the characters, and occasional, well choreographed action scenes.
The only gripes I had were with Rorscharch's voice (a bit too rough on some lines), and with the movie's inaccessibility to non-watchmen fans. Yes, you can infer the general idea of the storyline, but only throughout the movie instead of in the beginning, leaving new fans wondering what the heck's going on until after they decipher it when it's done.
Overall, I recommend this movie to anyone (over 16, it's quite dark) wanting a fun, cruelly dark & violent romp in the superhero genre.
