I wanted to be emersed in this but everything looked far too unbelievable. Made epic and huge for the sake of it. James Cameron basically saying "Look what I can do Mom!". If you're a visual effects fan than this is a must-see. Otherwise they did this particular story better in "Dances with Wolves".
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Mr. Abrams doesn't give you much chance to breathe. It was very enjoyable and the characters I love seem to be in good hands all around. Karl Urban stole the show every time he opened his mouth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great family flick! Makes good use of the 3-D aspect without creating gags for the sake of 3-D (Except for comic effect of course.) The kids will love it. The Parents will love it.
