While HP was beautiful to look at, there was a lot of the plot of the book that was sacrificed in this movie, so that by the end of it, I felt quite dissatisfied. The half-blood prince is barely important in this film, which is odd considering what the film is called. I didn't mind the relationship stuff, but thought that it was done at the expense of creating a coherent story line and interesting progression of action. I hadn't re-read the book before I saw this, and I was so confused at the end of the film until I realized many things had been left out, and other things had been added. Sigh.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
