What Rocky wanted to be.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I liked "The Help" but I think this movie whips up on it. Its similiar to rocky but with much better acting and a lot more action. Definately a must see, even if you do not watch UFC. If you do watch UFC then you will like it and appreciate it even that much more.

Dont waste your money, it may be based on a true story but its definately not Titanic. James Cameron is one of my all time favorite directors but this is not even close to being one of his better films. It is long and slow and the acting is rather pathetic even considering the poor casting involved. Other than the fact that I find cave diving a bit interesting I see absolutely no reason to go see this movie at all. I hope this helps you save the inflated price of a IMAX or 3D ticket. Your money would be spent much better else where.

It made perfect sense to me

Ok, I read a bunch of bad reviews about this movie before I went and seen it. All of which claim that the story is weak or made no sense. Well, I guess I am a bigger geek than I ever thought I was because it all made perfect sense to me. Of coarse I understand what standard deviations are, what anomalies are and what an enigma is.
Basically, it is life’s little imperfections that makes the world so beautiful. For without them we would not have albino alligators, humming birds or bumble bees… etc. You (Flynn) can not create perfection (the grid or the matrix) with imperfect ingredients (the isos, or Neo). Especially when it is these little deviations and variations, these little mathematical anomalies that bring beauty and wonder to the otherwise plain, dull and mundane.
The story line is defiantly there. It is just to complicated to explain to the average non geek and if you are not capable of understanding it then yes I guess this movie and the story behind it would completely fall apart and seem entirely meaningless and shallow to you.
This is a very good movie, the special effect are amazingly bright, colorful and visually brilliant. The story line is complicated and covert but it is defiantly there. I recommend that you go see this movie and if you have the extra money its worth seeing in IMAX & 3D. You and your kids will enjoy it even if you or your kids do not understand the hidden story line that is so very visible to all of the rest of us geeks out here.

Finally, a good movie

Finally a good movie. After having seen several real bombs lately (Skyline & The way things were) it is nice to actually go see a movie that gives you your moneys worth. The acting is good, the story line is good and based on real events. I didnt know anything about the movie when we went, it was the last movie (on thing left because we went late) showing that night but we were not dissappointed. It is worth seeing.

Save your money.

This movie is watchable as long as you just woke up and have already had several cups of coffee and a 5 hour energy shot. Otherwise it will be nap time again long before the movie is over. If you wait and get it at red box you might not feel like you have wasted your money. Otherwise you are probably going to be very dissappointed but at least you will have had a good nap.

Where's my refund?

Omg, I am ashamed to say that I actually paid money to go see this movie. Bad story line, horrible acting, just plain bad all around. The movie doesn't know if it wants to be war of the worlds or independence day which is a good thing since it wouldn't be good enough for their cutting room floors. I feel robbed of both my money and my brain for having paid to see this movie. BAD! BAD! BAD!!!

Disappointment

I was expecting so much more from this movie. Went on opening night to see it. I was totally disappointed. The movie was way to slow and seemed to take forever to go nowhere. I came out of the movie feeling robbed of three hours of my life not to mention the price of five tickets. There was also no reason to put all of the sex sences and useless profanity into a movie that they know is going to attract kids. Yes I know it was Rated R but its still a super hero movie. It was just a total disappointment for me and my family all the way around.
