When I heard they were calling this movie "This year's Ironman" my expectations lowered. I guess they were referring to it being a blockbuster hit. I do have to admit that this movie surprised me dearly. It was an interesting start to a new Star Trek saga. As opposed to a "re-make" or even a "re-imagination" I would call it an excellent continuation of the series. The actors fit their roles well, and the storyline was very interesting. It could have been very "cheesy" but they really did pull it off. I would say stop what you're doing, and go see this movie today. I would expect there to be a whole new swarm of Star Trek fans thanks to this movie.
