The problem with Trans2 is the same as the first one...only amplified. Decent action scenes. However, in both movies, the camera shoots so close to the action that it is difficult to distinguish what is going on. This technique worked well in the "Bourne" movies - not here. These are massive battles with huge machines. Zoom out and give us some perspective. Second problem - but more important - horrible script. There really isn't one, making the story line hard to follow. There is another huge lull in the middle of the movie, filled with bad attempts at humor, though Shia LaBeouf is better in this one. At least Megan Fox still looks amazing. If you want action, the new Terminator movie is far superior.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Lots of fun

Definitely a good time at the movies. All that you would want in a summer movie: explosions, action, comedy, some skin (though it is green). Nice homage to the original Star Trek with some of Bones' and Scotty's lines. Excellent CGI. Some plot issues - got a little turned around with the whole time travel deal. However, this is worth seeing on a big screen with a large crowd.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
