Comic fans stay away, everyone else...your call.

As an admitted comic book geek, this is one of the worst adaptations since captain america (yes I am referencing the straight to video film).
The one actor that made it interesting was Liev Schreiber as Victor. I had my doubts when he was cast, but did much better than expected. While initially excited to see Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool, his character was cut to a bit part. I do not count the final battle because that was not Deadpool, that was some pathetic made for the movie reject like Bruce Banner's Father in the Ang Le Hulk debacle.
My 8 year old son enjoyed a few scenes in it, but raised the question after the movie "Why did they keep adding new people, it's not like they were in the story or anything?"

No, I do not recommend this movie.
