A die hard Trekkie cheers the new Star Trek

I have to say, I was very skeptical about the new Star Trek, Very skeptical. I grew up with these characters, know there history, love all of the movies and TV shows (except Star Trek 5.) That being said this was a great movie. I will admit the first half I was not enjoying it at all. Mostly my stubborn prejudices, against anyone changing the Star Trek franchise. The first half is awesome but will upset older Trek fans. But the payoff is worth it and I predict that future viewings will make this movie even more enjoyable. Go see this movie, and bring your friends who have never seen Star Trek before they will love it!
