Crude humor can only carry a movie so far. Would've been better if they did a more monty python style of slapstick and wit. The first half of the movie was bad, but the humor and movie does get better the second half. As a fantasy movie it is not bad, but as a comedy, you can do a lot better.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

What an experience!

What an amazing experience seeing Avatar was. Saw it in Imax 3D. The story was simple to folllow but still had depth to it. The acting was good and it was good to see Sigourney Weaver in a sci-fi role again. The visuals were jaw dropping and with seeing in it 3D, was very immersive. Hands down the best experience I have had at the movies in a long time. A must see for any sci-fi fan or non sci-fi fan. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome movie. The plot, acting, and action are all top notch. Everyone should see this movie whether they are a trekkie or not.

Good movie, decent acting, good special effects, and easy to follow plot that the kiddos can follow. Just a good popcorn flick.
