I'm a regular viewer of Lost, and have seen Cloverfield. While I'm addicted to the former and wasn't too overly thrilled with the latter, this one really blew me away. The effects were great, but more importantly the acting was just about perfect. Kirk was good and cocky as he should be, Spock was methodical, but showed emotions when the time came to show them. Neemoy was great reprising his role. Just wish they brought Scotty in sooner, loved his funny remarks. Only thing that seemed odd was how black holes work, but otherwise explainations seemed good enough for any time/space manipulations.
Was a very good movie overall. Rorschach's narration, and story were my favorite parts. The parts with Dr. Manhattan were OK, but felt too long at some points and started to make me lose interest in a character that should be interesting. Great action and special effects, and interesting commentary on what it takes to make peace happen in a Nuclear War.
