Took the grand kids to see this movie on opening day, along with their mother and grandmother. All of us thought it was a great movie. A little heart wrenching in places, but it wasn't overwhelming for an 8 year old. Also a great look back in history.
And stay for the credits where they show the real-life persons associated with this story next to their counterpart actors.
Plot wanders around and sometimes hard to follow. Many of the action sequences are shot too close which also makes it hard to follow. Many shots out of focus. And James is the fastest healer I've ever seen. Bloody one minute, clean as day the next. But being a James Bond fan from day one, had to see it and would recommend it to others.
While several friends have said this movie is a laugh a minute, somehow that escaped me. I'd already seen many of the funniest moments several times over in the trailers, so thought there would be more laughs. But there weren't for me. Just an average movie.
Trailer gives you a sense of what the movie is about but there is a big surprise in reel three. Enjoyable movie, good FX, performances and sound. A very good Will Smith 4th of July movie that all ages, except under 13 due to language, will enjoy. Don't let the critics stop you from taking it in.
