Fun, exciting and great story. Eric Bana was surprisingly a great villain.
The "love story" was a bit odd and I wish Zoe Saldana was used more.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

it was entertaining but could have been much better. i would tell a friend to rent it. Wolverine's claws look HORRIBLE.

I see why it was released in March

It is true that The Watchmen is great visually, but the translation of the story to screen wasn't up to par. If you've never read the novel, you pretty much won't understand what is going on for long while. For such a complex and far reaching novel, this film should have been given to a director with more experience probably.
Other moviegoers were falling asleep and even I (who preordered tickets) was checking my phone for the end.
The highlight for me was Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian. His character was actually interesting and had depth. All the others were flat or not there.
I say wait for DVD.
