I haven't read the book, but the movie was still enjoyable for me. It was fast-paced, a little too much at the beginning I feel. Definitely a lot of surprises and plot twists! Just when you think you have it figured out, you're proven wrong. Engrossing enough that the time flies right by.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Reynolds as Wade, Deadpool??

Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, dead on! He nailed it and I was sorry to see (but understand why plot-wise) that he didn't play a bigger role.
Deadpool...I've read a little about the ending since I saw it last night, and if that was actually a Deadpool clone then all is forgiven! Otherwise...not-so-much
Yes, I recommend this movie.
