A worthy successor to a great movie. It didn't take it to new heights a la Terminator 2 or Empire Strikes Back, but light years beyond Transformers 2.
Some of the sub plots got a little lost, like they were trying to pack too much in. And I would have liked to see more fight scenes and interaction between Whiplash and Iron Man. The two we had showed a lot of promise, but left me wanting more. Loved the Captain America shout out, especially considering the material that his shield is made of was a nice tie in for geeks like me.
Quite a few laughs and fantastic explosions. Definitely worth your time. Don't forget to stick around after the credits for a glimpse of what is coming up from the Marvel Universe.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
