Pleasantly Surprised

To be honest, when I first went into this movie I expected the worst. I had read the reviews by critics and had been swayed by their opinions. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was funny, possibly a little bit funnier than the first, and I thought the pacing was good. The one thing I do agree with is with all the new transformers, they're not quite given the same treatment as they were in the first. There were a good number of times in the battle scenes where I couldn't quite identify what was what. Warning for the diehard Transformers fans (comics, cartoons, etc.): don't be disappointed if things aren't exactly as they are in the comics/cartoons.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
