Just okay...

From an "acting" perspective, this movie poorly delivers, with the "rock" dishing up more than the usual bad acting. As far as the two alien kids, well, they weren't much better. From an action / adventure perspective, the movie has its' moments, but there were far too many just "driving around" scenes. Special effects do deliver though, but I'm afraid they can't make up for the down sides of this movie. And I think this would be very boring for younger kids (below the 9 to 10 year olds...) Sorry.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

....I took my son and his two friends. High school kids. A few laugh's, but sorry, wouldn't recommend.

Sorry...this movie went after nerdy star wars and trekie fans as a base for popularity and it "tanked". I almost walked out....

As a parent and hater of exploiting children in the worst way possible, this movie connected with me at levels of emotion that could only be described as "YES!!! GET THOSE SCUM BAGS!!" Great job Liam! However...
the story includes a more "irritating" side, the side of a jerk of a mother who really cares nothing for her 17 year old daughter who goes back to her and Liam's "replacement" in the end. Sorry...only 3 start in my book. Liam, you could have accompanied your daughter in a ride from LAX...

Outstanding! I see allot of me in this character when I reach the same age...don't mess with the grumpy old man next door...he just may be the guy who will change your life, in more ways than one! Clint...I salute you!!!

This movie is outstanding! I would also recommend the soundtrack...what a great mix of music. The 8 academy awards this movie won, including best picture, was definately deserved!
