Horrible butchery of a classic tale

Very poor translation of the original tale. The plot jumped all over the place. Very little character development. They even mispronounced the character Saka's name. The bending effects were ok and as usual M. Night has great sound and visual quality. Overall don't waste your money in the theater, DVD solamente.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Best Holiday Film so far

Excellent film. Well written and acted by all characters, main and supporting. Guy Ritchie is one of my favorite directors and he didn't disappoint here. Love the stop motion and other effects that are very time altering. You don't realize you have been watching a movie for over 2 hours. Better than the other so-called Holiday blockbusters for me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
