I liked this movie, but it busted all former ideas of Sherlock Holmes that I had previously. Holmes was the neat one (in the books) and Watson kind of bumbling. The movie has the opposite - Holmes is VERY messy, and Watson the neatnik. They play off of each other very well, and I found myself more interested in them and their lives rather than the case. Watson's girlfriend was a nice touch - as was the girl that Holmes is smitten by. My favorite part was the slow-mo sections where Holmes told what he was going to do in detail - we kind of get into his head for a minute. Overall, not my favorite movie, but I will definately see the sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
