3D Was The Star!

If you're thinking of not spending the extra few dollars to see this in 3D- don't bother. Without the effects, this movie is a rental at best. It is funny in a goofy way but lacks the witty jokes and pop culture references that made movies like Shrek and The Incredibles so fun for adults. The 3D effects, however, are awsome! and well worth the price of admission. We went with a large group and we all enjoyed it in 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Concert Movie!

Took my 8 yr old daughter to see this on opening night. She loved it! It was fast moving, well edited and the on-stage 3D performances were awsome. A song perfomed in Central Park, NY was beautifully shot. A backstage scene where the guys take off their shirts had the girls screaming! My only complaint was that the behind the scenes footage was obviously scripted and should've been more "real" like in other concert movies I've seen. Great Overall, though.
